Welcome!
Having spent many years playing Bass guitar I have always been modifying and adjusting my instruments to get the most out of them. To expand my knowledge, I learned from a long standing and respected Luthier, the techniques and skills needed to build an electric bass from the ground up. Building a guitar from scratch taught me how every dimension, material and component part, interacts to produce a great playing guitar.
I started off building basses for myself, making guitars for friends and carrying out various guitar repairs/modifications for fellow local players. (Please take a look at the gallery for some pics)
Now I work from a fully equipped workshop in Nottingham offering a range of services from guitar repairs and setups, to full custom builds of electric guitars and basses.
